JL van der Velde - Chief Executive Officer

He joined in early 2013 to become the CEO and co-founder of Bitfinex. He is also the CEO of Tether and also a lecturer at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTSTU) and guest lecturer at Taiwan University (Blockchain and Regulation).

Giancarlo Devasini - Chief Financial Officer

He is serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Bitfinex and has also helped in the development of Bitfinex since 2013.

Claudia Lagorio - Chief Operating Officer

He is serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Bitfinex and Tether.to. He also served as the Creative and Digital Marketing Director at Fintech startup.

Paolo Ardoino - Chief Technology Officer

He joined Bitfinex in early 2015 and now serves as Chief Technology Officer. In 2010, he started developing financial related applications and in late 2013, he founded Fincluster as CTO.

Peter Warrack - Chief Compliance Officer

He is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for Bitfinex. He is also an instructor and board member of the Canadian Institute for Financial Crime Analysis (CIFCA), Canada’s center for money laundering risk and financial intelligence.

Stuart Hoegner - General Counsel

He is an international digital asset lawyer and accountant based in Canada. He joined Bitfinex in 2014.
