The FTT is the native cryptocurrency token of the FTX trading platform. FTX cryptocurrency exchange was co-founded and launched by Sam Bankman-Fried and Gary Wang in May 2019. Currently, FTX exchange is led by the following 6 executive team members:

Sam Bankman-Fried - Founder and CEO

He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, he was a trader on Jane Street Capital’s international ETF desk. He traded a variety of ETFs, futures, currencies, and equities. He also designed automated OTC trading system. He graduated from MIT with a degree in Physics.

Gary Wang - Founder and CTO

He is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, he was a software engineer at Google, where he built systems to aggregate prices across millions of flights, decreasing latency and memory usage by over 50%.

Nishad Singh - Head of Engineering

He is the Head of Engineering at FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, he worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer, where he worked on applied Machine Learning.

Dan Friedberg - Regulatory Officer

He is the regulatory Officer of FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, he was a partner at Fenwick and West LLP, where he led the cryptocurrency practice and was the chair of the Payments Systems group.

Can Sun - General Counsel

 He is the General Counsel of FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, he was Co-Chair of the Blockchain practice group at Fenwick and West LLP, where he advised hundreds of blockchain related projects and companies on their legal and compliance matters.

Constance Wang - COO

She is the Chief Operating Officer of FTX exchange. Prior to FTX, she worked on risk controls in Credit Suisse before joining Huobi Global to expand their institutional business in APAC.
