Dash supports instant transactions and privacy using decentralized technology. Dash Platform is a technology stack for building decentralized applications on the Dash network. The Dash Network is governed by masternodes, powerful servers backed by collateral held in Dash designed to provide advanced services securely and governance over Dash’s proposal system. Dash is used around the world as a practical alternative to cash and credit cards and it is also a useful solution in the international remittances market. Dash is an open protocol not under the control of any single entity. Dash Core Group Inc. (DCG) is the Dash Funded organization
(DFO) that works for Dash Network and it is responsible for the main development of Dash. Dash Core Group is funded directly from the blockchain if the network approves. Dash Core Group leads the development and maintenance of the Dash cryptocurrency network and protocol.
Evan Duffield - Founder and Former CEO of Dash
He is a well known American Entrepreneur, Software Developer and Cryptocurrency Enthusiast. Dash was created and launched by Evan Duffield in 2014 with the unique X11 hashing algorithm as its defining feature. He created a Development Core that is chaired in order to guarantee the development of the Dash cryptocurrency and at the same time, he created a Decentralized Autonomous Organisation (DAO) for the governance of Dash cryptocurrency. Evan Duffield and his team enhanced Dash’s capabilities to make their transactions secure and anonymous, giving rise to PrivateSend and at the same time, he began to develop the InstantSend feature to make crypto payments instantly. The result of this was a complete success and with the success of his project, he left his CEO position at the Dash Core Group in 2017, and focused on Dash Labs, from where he runs free software projects in order to maintain Dash’s decentralization at all times.

Prior to this, he served as the Director Strategy Business Development of UBS; Vice President of Morgan Stanley Investment Management; Senior Associate of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney; Financial Management Associate of Citi; Associate of Marotta Gund Budd & Dzera, LLC; and Analyst of Prudential Securities.
Samuel Westrich - He is the Chief Technology Officer of Dash Core Group. Prior to this, he Co-Founded Langical; he served as the Lead iOS Engineer of Beijing PENCHO Pai Fashion International Technology Co., Ltd.; Senior iOS Developer of Adylitica, Inc.; and Junior Research Assistant of Information Sciences Institute.
Ernesto Contreras - He is the Head of Business Development of Dash Core Group. Prior to this, he was the Marketing Manager of Bitso; Marketing manager of Cierto; Trade Marketing Manager of Venceramica; Assistant Brand Manager of Quala S.A.; and Production Engineer of Mondelez International.
