Axie Infinity is a blockchain-based trading and battling game that is partially owned and operated by its players. Axie Infinity allows players to collect, breed, raise, battle, and trade token-based creatures known as Axies. Axie Infinity has its own unique governance commemorative, known as Axie Infinity Shards (AXS). A freely-tradable token “Axie Infinity (AXS)” is an ERC-20 token launched on the Ethereum blockchain. Axie Infinity was created in 2018 by a technology-focused gaming studio called Sky Mavis. Axie Infinity was co-founded by Trung Nguyen and Aleksander Leonard Larsen.

The Sky Mavis is led by the following 8 executive team members:

Trung Nguyen - He is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Axie Infinity. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at Anduin Transactions; and he was also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Lozi.

Aleksander Leonard Larsen - He is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sky Mavis and Axie Infinity. He also serves as the Secretary Board of Directors of Blockchain Game Alliance. Previously, he was responsible for Community Management and Business Development at Parsec Frontiers; he worked as Executive security Officer at Norwegian Government Security Organization; Partnered Streamer at Twitch; and Freelancer at Dagbladet.

Viet Anh Ho - Currently, he serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Sky Mavis.

Tu Doan - He is an Art Director of Axie Infinity. Previously, he served as a Head of Design at Lozi.

Jeffrey Zirlin - He is the Co-Founder and Growth Lead of Sky Mavis.

Quy Dau - He serves as a Frontend Leader at Sky Mavis. Previously, he was a Product engineer at UNIQ.vn.

Duy Trinh - He serves as an Art Leader at Sky Mavis. Previously, he was a 2D Animator at Van Tich.

Hiep Nguyen - Currently, he is a Product Lead at Sky Mavis. Previously, he worked as Product Designer at Anduin Transactions; and he also served as a Frontend Developer at three companies : Gumi Vietnam Co, Unik Interactive and ITK Solutions.
